In an effort to promote educational opportunities and strengthen ties between India and Papua New Guinea, Indian High Commissioner Inbasekar Sundaramutthi announced the initiation of free Information Technology (IT) Scholarships for Papua New Guinean students. The scholarship program is fully funded by the Indian Government through the Indian High Commission in PNG.
The IT Scholarship encompasses comprehensive support, covering tuition fees, living expenses, and travel costs, thereby alleviating financial barriers for aspiring students. This initiative aims to provide access to world-class universities and programs, offering a pathway to academic excellence.
High Commissioner Inbasekar emphasized that the scholarship not only provides academic rewards but also serves as an investment in creating a brighter future for individuals and their communities. The program encourages Papua New Guineans to seize the opportunity for personal development and contribute positively to their surroundings.
Interested applicants are urged to reach out to the Indian High Commission for further details and application procedures. High Commissioner Inbasekar encourages potential scholars to either send an email to the commission or visit their office to gather more information about this transformative IT scholarship.
