Papua New Guinea University of Technology – Adult Matriculation Programme
The Papua New Guinea University of Technology (Unitech), through its Department of Open and Distance Learning (DODL), has opened applications for the Adult Matriculation Programme – Semester 1, 2026.
This programme is designed for school leavers and non-school leavers who wish to upgrade their academic qualifications for university entry.
Who Can Apply
- School leavers and non-school leavers
- Applicants with Grade 10 or Grade 12 certificates
- Students enrolling through approved DODL Study Centres

Fees Structure
- K280.00 per subject
- Study Centre facility fee: K50 – K150 (maximum allowed)
- Student ID card fee: K20 – K40
Note: No application form fee is charged. Any facility fee exceeding K150 is illegal and should be reported to DODL Headquarters.

All tuition fees must be paid directly to the main DODL account:

Payments can also be made at the Unitech–DODL Office using EFTPOS.
Learning Materials
All course materials are provided in soft-copy format. Students must have a flash drive or smartphone to access learning materials. Materials are issued after registration.
Registration Requirements
- Students must attach a copy of their Grade 12 certificate during registration
- Registration forms without certificates will not be processed
Study Centre Information
Students are encouraged to enrol at an approved DODL Study Centre closest to their home province. Any study centre not officially listed is not authorised to offer DODL programmes.
