The event brought together company representatives, graduates and students eager to learn about career opportunities and leadership pathways available within the organisation.
Held on May 28, the launch served as the first stop in a nationwide campaign that will see Brian Bell engage with universities and tertiary institutions throughout Papua New Guinea.
The roadshow was facilitated by HR Support Services Manager Shinal Prasad and Leadership Development Team Lead Sandie Gwale, who outlined the objectives of the graduate program and the benefits available to successful applicants.
Students were given an overview of the Group's operations and learned how the program is structured to provide broad workplace exposure through departmental rotations, mentoring arrangements, leadership development activities and participation in business projects.
The session also included the Brian Bell Group Entry Test, giving interested students an opportunity to begin the recruitment process.
A key feature of the event was the participation of graduates from recent intakes who returned to share their personal journeys.
Christa Hukahu, Biure Kaupa, Bathsheba Jambert and Michelle Ageva spoke about their experiences moving from academic study into the corporate environment.
They described how the program helped build confidence, strengthen professional skills and provide exposure to different areas of the business.
The graduate speakers encouraged students to take advantage of opportunities available through the program and to approach the application process with confidence.
Applications for the 2027 Graduate Development Program are now being accepted from final-year students.
Brian Bell Group will continue visiting universities and colleges across the country as it seeks to identify and develop the next generation of Papua New Guinea's business and community leaders.
“The program has given us the opportunity to learn, grow and gain valuable experience across different areas of the business while being supported by mentors throughout the journey,” the graduates told students.
