NOAS Grace Period and Tertiary Selections for 2027

The system is used to:
- Register Grade 12 students’ biographical information.
- Register school information, including teachers and subject specialists.
- Maintain electronic Student Leaver Forms.
- Process students’ choices for tertiary studies.
- Facilitate electronic selection of students into tertiary institutions based on academic performance and institutional requirements.
What Is the NOAS Grace Period?
The NOAS Grace Period is a designated period during which Grade 12 students can review and make final changes to their tertiary institution and program choices.
The grace period normally takes place after the Department of Education releases Grade 12 examination results online.
During this period, students are encouraged to review their results and ensure that their selected programs meet the minimum entry requirements of their preferred institutions.
2026 NOAS Grace Period: Pending official announcement by DHERST.
The grace period dates for the 2026 Grade 12 cohort will be confirmed by DHERST.
Important Notice for Grade 12 Students
Students should carefully review their five choices under the “My Choices” section of NOAS.
If a choice is highlighted in red, it may indicate that the student does not meet the minimum academic requirements for the selected program.
Students should review the program requirements and make necessary changes to their choices during the official grace period.
Students are encouraged to seek assistance from their school principals, guidance officers or subject teachers if they experience difficulties with their NOAS applications.
Please note that NOAS does not display students’ final examination grades or GPA. Students should access their examination results through the official MSD examination results website when results are released.
