How to Apply for Admission
Sacred Heart (Hagita) Secondary welcomes students from various backgrounds and locations. Entry into the school is based on national selection processes and transfer guidelines.
1. Grade 11 Selection
Students are selected through the National Grade 11 Selection in December each year. Eligibility requires correct completion of School Leaver Forms and achieving Upper Passes or better in Grade 10 exams.
Eligibility Criteria: Upper Pass and above
2. Grade 9 Selection
Students from local primary schools are selected based on performance in the Basic Education Examination. The national cut-off mark is 80, and students must score above 80 for admission.
Eligibility Criteria: High or above
3. Transfers
Transfers are permitted within the first six weeks of the school year and are accepted only for valid reasons such as parental job relocation. Transfers at Grades 10 and 12 are not allowed per national policy.
