Final year nursing student Manoa Samuel, on behalf of his colleagues, said they had benefitted from HELP last year and this year.
“We have benefitted much from the Government of today,” he said.
“We are benefitting from the HELP.
“Last year, and this year, students are benefitting from the HELP loan that was given by the Government of today.
“We are so thankful to the Government for helping young people in their studies, and we look forward to a better tomorrow for PNG.”
Samuel said the HELP had assisted many students, and their parents, who were not in a position to afford tuition fees.
“If this HELP is continued, next year and onwards, we will have more human resources in our country,” he said.
Final-year nursing student, Ky’Drene Tommy, was thankful for the work experience at PMGH.
“Coming here (PMGH) and taking this programme (practical) is a wonderful experience,” she said.
“I really love nursing; my passion is helping people.”
