Introducing Miss Grace Bal, Our Bilum Model. Grace Bal graduated from the University of Goroka as an Early Childhood Educator in 2017. At the age of 22, she got her first Teaching Work with AIS in Goroka. She Continued to work as an Early Childhood Teacher from 2017 to 2019 in various Provinces. Grace says; Being employed gave her the opportunity to study again. She was able to support herself to pursue into another course. She teaches by Day and Attends full time evening classes during the Night. She graduated with Business Management in 2019 at ITI. Her Passion for the younger generations has caused her to move further into pursuing her next Goal.

She opened her first Early Childhood School in Goroka in 2020.
Grace says;...Our country needs open minded, proactive leaders. You can never train an adult. BUT can guide a child to be a better adult. I have great hope for my country. And I believe in our younger generation to take PNG forward. She wants to be part of the making of this Nation Stronger. She says, I am doing my part to lay out firm foundation for the younger generation in schools. Encouraging positive attitude and mindset. Rooting the importance of being Independent. It's easier to build strong children than to repair broken adults.
Grace also says that; With the vast energy she has, she is committed to fitness to keep a healthy lifestyle. Participating in the local Rugby League Competition in Goroka helped her broad her network. She has represented Goroka through Sports but nothing comes near being a Model representing Goroka, she says..I entered a different world altogether. Being a Model isn't easy. The joy to be part of the Bilum team for a greater course in contributing to PNGs fashion industry has put me at ease as I am playing a part to this growing industry. The experience is remarkable. I will continue to be a part of this organisation and do the best I can for upcoming young boys and girls who are interested to take into Modeling.
