The University of Papua New Guinea offers some of the top courses from Diploma to PhD programs. The university has five main schools where different course programs are offered through undergraduate and post graduate studies. Below are the lists of schools within the university.

How to Apply to study at University of Papua New Guinea
There are two processes to apply to study at the University of Papua New Guinea. These are
- School Leavers Applications
- Non School Leavers Applications
School Leavers : School leavers are for currently Grade 12s who are studying at Secondary Schools and National High Schools in Papua New Guinea. There is no application for this group of students. However, Grade 12 students must fill in the School Leavers Forms both Online (NOAS) and manually. The PNG Department of Higher Education, Research , Science and Technology (DHERST) does the selections annually. Note: International students are ineligible for this program.
Non School Leavers : International Students, Non Grade 12 students and Post Graduate Students must apply through the Non School Leavers application. The application forms are usually released by the university in July.
