Here is a scholarship opportunity for students from the University of Papua New Guinea. This scholarship is provided by DEKA Dynamics , a Australian Company. The company released the following statement on the scholarship announcement.

As an Australian company which has provided numerous mining related educational and training short courses in Papua New Guinea in years past, DEKA Dynamics (DEKA) feels an affiliation with the wonderful people of PNG and institutions such as the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) that are engaged in creating professionals for PNG’s mining industry. The UPNG via the Earth Sciences Division within the School of Natural and Physical Sciences has supported DEKA in successfully running some of our trainings pre-pandemic and will continue to do so once DEKA returns to Papua New Guinea in July 2022. To acknowledge UPNG’s assistance, DEKA would like to return the kindness by sponsoring the tuition fee of ESD’s students.
Beginning with one Year 2 student for the 2022 Academic year, DEKA will provide full payment of the selected Earth Sciences student’s tuition fees for the rest of their studies over three years, subject to the student meeting and maintaining the standards set by UPNG.
Our sponsorship will continue into 2023, where another year 2 student will also be selected and provided with the same full tuition fee scholarship, and repeated again in 2023, with a third student.
By choosing this route, it is DEKA’s intentions that there will always be three students each year receiving the Tuition Fee Sponsorship.
