The Papua New Guinea Defence Force Air Transport Wing PNGDF ATW has a young military pilot. This is after young Lieutenant Cameron Hosea was elevated from Second Lieutenant to a military pilot. Lt Hosea graduated from the PNGDF Defence Academy now Joint Forces Academy back in 2015 and was posted to Delta Company 2nd Battalion, Royal Pacific Islands Regiment in Wewak ESP as a Platoon Commander.

The military saw his potentials and was selected to do Pilot training at International Aviation Academy New Zealand in 2017.
On completion of his training he was Posted to PNGDF ATW as a Line Pilot in 2019. He is now a full-time military pilot with the PNG Defence Force Air Transport Wing based at Jackson's International airport, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea .
