New hostel for International students at PNG University of Technology

 INTERNATIONAL exchange students studying at the PNG University of Technology now have a conducive living environment to call home while living and studying at the university, thanks to the Senior Executive Management who recently opened a hostel that will accommodate international postgraduate students.

Vice Chancellor Professor Ora Renagi said during the house- warming ceremony that the University has a responsibility to provide quality services and look after its international students, one of which is providing a better living environment for them.

Dean of Postgraduate School, Professor Gariba Danbaro thanked the vice chancellor and management for the initiative to provide such a facility for the international students.

The currently being occupied by two postgraduate students on an exchange program from Africa, Ms Esther Eze and Mr Jasiah Ayodele.

The hostel is fully furnished with six bedrooms (two self-contained rooms and four common share rooms), a kitchen, laundry facilities, a study and sitting area.
