The application for Under graduate Non School Leavers is online. Students must follow carefully the following instructions to apply.
This instructions are for UNDERGRADUATE Non School leavers applying online only
1. Follow ALL these instructions exactly. If you do not provide all requested information, your application will be rejected.
- You can only submit ONE application for admission for entry to any semester/year. If you submit 2 or more applications, ALL will be disqualified, and you will have to wait another year to re-apply
- Double check all contact information that you provide. Postal addresses provided must be a valid address. Provide valid mobile phone number that will reach you directly even if your phone is lost or stolen. TAKE NOTE THAT UNIVERSITY WILL ONLY COMMUNICATE RESULT OF APPLICATION FORM TO ALL APPLICANTS THROUGH EMAIL. IT IS COMPLUSORY FOR YOU TO HAVE A VALID EMAIL ACCOUNT. Documents required for applying
- Recent passport size photo that is clear (scanned in .pdf format). Copy of ID cards, Driver's license, passport or NID card WILL NOT be accepted.
- Application payment receipt (scanned)
- Academic record transcripts/certificates that show grades/achievements (high school, college/university studies, vocational training, distance/open learning courses). All these documents must be officially certified within the current year (2022-2023) by a registered COMMISSIONER OF OATHS employed by government (including district court houses). Statutory Declaration Form are NOT accepted. Your entire application will be rejected if those assessments are not officially stamped by the Commissioner or if you use a Commissioner not employed directly by government.
- Find 2 referees who are willing to fill out the form attached below. Referees must be established adults who are not close relatives but who know you and your capabilities well. Evaluations must be less than 2 years old. Referee‟s name and signature must be officially witnessed by a professional colleague from the same organisation and its seal/stamp inserted to officially certify the reference forms.
- Any document/s produce after the application been submitted will NOT be accepted
- Comply with instructions given on this form because appeals will NOT be accepted if your application is rejected
WARNING: Any false, misleading, or altered information found on your application or attachments (we double-check with source schools) will PERMANENTLY BLACK-LIST you from ever studying at the PNG University of Technology.
Nonrefundable application processing fee of K50.00, deposited into BSP Lae Branch Account Number 1000 386 580. Scan the original copy and upload it at the end of your online application

- After login proceed to access the online application under admissions tab
- Fill in details and submit your application

Application for Re-admitting Students
READMITTANCE INSTRUCTIONS
RE-ADMIT - This online form instructions is for UNDERGRADUATE re-admissions only.
1. Follow these instructions fully and precisely. If you do not provide all requested information, your application will be rejected.
- You can only submit only ONE application for admission for entry. If you submit 2 or more applications, ALL will be disqualified, and you will have to wait another year to re-apply.
- If you have failed 2 times in the first year and or 3 times in any of the subsequent years of the program, this will automatically disqualify your application to be re-admitted into your original study program.
- Maximum allowed time for completing a Degree program is 7 years. If you cannot complete your program of study within the prescribed period after enrolling (assuming you are approved for admission), you will be automatically disqualified for re-admission in that program. You cannot re-apply to that program.
- Take note that the University will only communicate result of application forms to all applicants through email. It is compulsory for you to have/provide a valid email address/account. You can create one here GMAIL
Documents Required for applying
- Recent passport size photo that is clear and completely filled by your uncovered head. Copy of ID cards, Driver's license, passport or NID card WILL NOT be accepted.
- Application payment receipt (scanned in .pdf)
- Full Academic transcripts.
- Two character references. (Download form below) Find 2 referees who are willing to fill out the form attached below. Referees must be established adults who are not close relatives but know you and your capabilities well. Referee’s name and signature must be officially witnessed by a professional colleague from the same organization and its seal/stamp inserted to officially certify the reference forms.
- Applicant’s re-admittance cover letter, with relevant evidence attached. Whatever you submit must convince PNGUOT authorities that you have overcome whatever problem(s) prevented you from completing your studies the last time. Promises must be backed up with evidence that will convince reviewers that whatever you promise will actually be delivered.
- If you withdraw on medical grounds, your medical clearance report must be uploaded.
- If you have been suspended and have served your terms, you must also upload your clearance report.
- It is important to comply with instructions given.
A K150.00 Admissions Appeals fee will be charged for Appeal
Nonrefundable application processing fee of K50.00, deposited into BSP Lae Branch Account Number 1000 386 580. Take the original (no photocopy allowed!) deposit slip that clearly confirms into what account and when the deposit was made.
