Call for Papers: National Symposium on Innovation and Sustainability Western Pacific University
Western Pacific University is pleased to announce its National Symposium on Innovation and Sustainability, an interdisciplinary platform designed to foster dialogue, collaboration, and actionable solutions toward a sustainable future.
We are now inviting researchers, academics, practitioners, and students to submit original papers that address the critical challenges and opportunities for sustainable development in Papua New Guinea.

Abstract: Maximum 300 words outlining research objectives, methodology, key findings, and implications
Full Paper: 4,000 to 6,000 words including references, formatted according to the official template
Format: Submit in Microsoft Word or PDF format
Submission Method: All papers must be submitted via email
Author Information: Include author names, affiliations, contact details, and a short biography
Review Process
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by a panel of experts. Evaluation will be based on:
- Originality
- Relevance to symposium themes
- Methodological rigor
- Clarity and presentation
- Selected papers will be invited for oral presentation at the symposium.
Publication
Accepted abstracts will appear in the Symposium Proceedings.
Selected full papers will be considered for publication in the WPU Journal of Research and Innovation.
