Over 74 000 Students sit for Grade 10 National Examinations

 #StudyinPNG : Over 74 000 Grade 10 student throughout Papua New Guinea have begun their examinations today (Monday 11th, October, 2021). The Grade 10 National Examinations will run for a week. Next week will see over 32 000 Grade 12 students throughout the country  will sit their examinations and that will be followed by the Grade 8 Examinations a week later.

The Grade 10 examinations began this morning without any hiccup. The students throughout the country  began their examinations with  the Mathematics and Personal Development subjects.  On Tuesday, the students will sit for Social Science and Arts Examinations. The examinations for the science and technology subjects (Practical skills, Home Economics, Design and Technology and computer ) will be conducted on Wednesday. That will be followed by Business Studies and Agriculture examinations on Thursday. The examinations will end on Friday with English subject. 

Meanwhile, the Education Department through the Measurement Services Division (MSD) has distributed the Grade 8, 10 and 12 examination materials to the provinces in time of  the schedule dates. 

The Education Department has warned  students, teachers and schools administrators not to cheat in the national examinations. The penalty for cheating or assisting to cheat in National Examinations is NON-CERTIFICATION for students and TERMINATION FROM TECAHING for Teachers. No teacher is allowed to view Exam Papers during examination period.
