Inclusion (Inclusive Education) funded by the Australian Government through Australia Awards PNG short courses.

From 4 October, the group completed four weeks of intensive learning every day at the Holiday Inn in Port Moresby via ZOOM. The PNG students completed two units, EUZ639 & EUZ681, and successfully submitted their assessments (both six credit point units). Those units were delivered by Professor Suzanne Carrington, Dr Glenys Mann, Dr Sofia Mavropoulou and Associate Professor Beth Saggers in a blended learning model including one-way presentations, video shows, in-class group discussions and individual-driven study. Here were some points highlighted by the participants:

“Insight/knowledge on inclusive [education] has developed passion and ambition.”

“Lecture delivered clearly on Zoom by facilitators, short and sharp on time.”

“The students were able to [get to] know each other well through working with partners and in groups.”

Thanks to the students and facilitators for your hard work. We are looking forward to seeing your learning progress in Block 2 and 3 in 2022.
