Tertiary Selections Report for Enga Province 2025

 The Department of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology (DHERST) 2025 Tertiary Selection list reveals that 487 students from Enga Province have secured placements in tertiary institutions across the country. These selections include both school leavers and non-school leavers, demonstrating the province's commitment to education and academic success.

Sir Tei Abal Secondary School leads the selections in Enga Province, with an impressive total of 168 students. Among them, 51 secured placements at universities, 50 at business colleges, and 43 at technical colleges. St. Paul’s (Pausa) Secondary School followed with 110 students, including 40 admitted to business colleges and 31 to universities. Kopen Secondary School also performed well, contributing 48 students, with 14 gaining university placements.

Non-school leavers made up a significant portion of the selections, with 57 students securing placements. This includes 18 admitted to technical colleges, 15 to teachers' colleges, and 14 to business colleges, showcasing the accessibility of tertiary education for individuals outside the traditional school system.

Other notable contributions came from Four Square (Wapenamanda) Secondary, which had 34 students selected, and Pitipias RMCN Secondary, which sent 22 students to various institutions. Schools such as Porgera Secondary, Pilikambi Secondary, and Sirunki Lutheran Secondary also contributed to the overall success, with their students gaining placements in universities, colleges, and other institutions.
