DHERST Announces Grace Period for NOAS 2025

 2025 National Online Application System (NOAS) – Grace Period Update

The Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (DHERST) advises all Grade 12 school leavers, non-school leaver applicants, parents and the general public that the official Grace Period for the 2025 National Online Application System (NOAS) will depend on the release of final Grade 12 results from the National Department of Education (NDoE).

DHERST will announce the confirmed Grace Period dates once the final results are received from NDoE.

Current NOAS Timeline (Subject to Change):

• Grace Period: 8 December 2025 (12:01am) – 14 December 2025 (11:59pm)
• Updated Timeline Based on Results Availability:
• Grace Period: 9 December 2025 (9:00pm) – 14 December 2025 (11:59pm)

During the Grace Period, all applicants will receive updates through NOAS notifications, including text blasts and the MyStatus tab, regarding any changes to application cycle dates.
