U.S. Embassy Port Moresby congratulates our 2021-2022 Humphrey fellow Dunstan Dirua! Dunstan's commitment to teaching as former Head of Science and Mathematics Strand at Simbu Teachers College has paid off. He will undertake his Humphrey fellowship at Pennsylvania State University studying Educational Administration particularly in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education.
On another high note, the U.S. Embassy is proud to welcome back our 2020-2021 Humphrey fellow Jordon Dean, who completed a nine month fellowship program with Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University in New York. Jordan imparted some great advice and shared some critical lessons learnt during his Humphrey fellowship with Dunstan, and the U.S. Embassy team during an out brief meet.
Jordan set the bar with two affiliations for 12 weeks while on the Humphrey fellowship, as a Financial Analyst at the Department of Water Environment Protection and an Intern with the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) at the United Nations Head Quarters.
