Divine Word University Fees for 2022

 #StudyinPapuaNewGuinea, Study at Divine Word University : The Divine Word University (DWU) in Madang, Papua New Guinea has announced the fees to 2022. If you are planning to study at the university in 2022, below are the fees you are expected to pay. 

This announcement is for students, parents and sponsors and is relevant for those undertaking Full-Time study programs at Divine Word University Madang Campus.

Fees

Every year DWU subsidizes the total annual actual fees charged. The fee charged after subsidy for each student at DWU varies depending on the program studied, their choice  for residential status and whether they are on government sponsorship through the Tertiary Education Study Assistance Scheme (TESAS) administered by the Department  of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (DHERST) on behalf of the  PNG Government.

The Explanation of the DWU Fee Structure for 2022 is to get students, parents and  sponsors to understand the fees charged and the actual fees that are subsidized.

Explanation of DWU Fee Schedule 2022

Tuition Fees

The Tuition Fee (green highlighted) is the compulsory fee that all students should pay. The On-Registration fee should be paid before the 31st of January in order to register for the academic year. The balance of the total Tuition Fee is due to be paid before the 31st of May.

The Boarding and Lodging Fee is a separate fee that must be paid in full should a student wish to be “Residential” i.e. reside on campus. Students who wish to be “Non-Residential” i.e. not reside on campus will only pay the full Tuition fee owed by the due dates mentioned.

First Year students will be issued a laptop after the full On-Registration Fee is paid.

Boarding and Lodging

Students who wish to be “Residential” will pay the annual standard Boarding and Lodging fee of K6,900.00. The Boarding and Lodging Fee includes meals and accommodation.

TESAS

The Tertiary Education Study Assistance Scheme (TESAS) is a PNG Government funded Scholarship administered by the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and  Technology (DHERST). The awarded TESAS amount (highlighted yellow) is payable by  DHERST for students who will be on TESAS. Check here on how to Apply for TESAS 

Total Tuition and Boarding and Lodging Fee

The total Tuition and Boarding and Lodging fee is the complete fee amount paid by the student for the academic year. For those students who wish to be “Non-Residential” will only pay the total Tuition Fee less the Boarding and Lodging fee.

Total Annual Cost Subsidized by the University

The Total Annual cost is the actual cost for the programs by which Divine Word University subsidizes. The subsidized amount (blue highlighted) is the amount DWU subsidizes.
