The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed in Port Moresby last Friday, creates a direct pathway for PNG students to further their studies overseas after completing programs at HYTARC.
Founder and Director of HYTARC, Michael Goro, said the arrangement was aimed at giving students a clear academic progression beyond local training.
“Our students, when you graduate from HYTARC to that college, you will have a pathway to go continue Bachelor's and Master's at Sharda University,” Goro said. “That's why we're going to sign the MOU.”
He said the partnership would open doors for students to experience advanced learning environments and modern facilities available at the university’s New Delhi campus.
Goro noted that exposure to such international standards would help PNG students broaden their knowledge and skills in a rapidly changing world.
Sharda University Assistant Director for International Relations, Manu Aggwaal, said the institution offers programs aligned with global industry demands.
“The kind of curriculum we are using, it's like latest trending curriculum, which is enhanced by the industry,” Aggwaal said.
“I can say it's an industry-oriented curriculum we can offer to the students, and they can get completely hands-on experience with the latest technologies.”
